Carry the feeling onto a screen.

A cream sofa, a deep green armchair, warm light across a patterned rug. This furniture showroom’s appeal comes from how everything works together.

For showroom businesses and luxury real estate agencies, the challenge is carrying that feeling onto a screen.

This FJD Trion P2 furniture showroom project shows what that can look like. Captured with P2 and reconstructed as a 3DGS scene, the interior retains its rich color palette in a space viewers can explore.

What’s 3DGS?

3D Gaussian Splatting, or 3DGS, is a technique for creating lifelike, explorable 3D views from captured visual and spatial data. It represents a scene using many small, overlapping elements that carry color and transparency, recreating its appearance from different viewpoints.

In this showroom, viewers can look around the seating area, notice the contrast between upholstery and wood, and explore how it connects to the dining display beyond.

03

Give clients more to explore and discuss.

For furniture retailers, this brings complete room arrangements into conversations before a showroom visit. For luxury property agencies, the same approach can help remote buyers explore interiors, revisit favorite areas with a partner and arrive with more specific questions.

Within FJD Trion Creative, teams can also take measurements and add annotations to supported project data, keeping spatial information alongside the discussion.

3DGS itself is a visual representation rather than a precision measurement dataset. Critical dimensions should be verified using appropriate scan data or on-site measurements.

FJD Trion Model Web supports 3DGS generation from supported scan data, browser viewing and project sharing, helping teams turn captured spaces into client presentations.
